The '5 Year Home Plan' was conceived by Glenn Ackroyd and David Laycock. We set up a successful lettings business (EweMove Sales & Lettings) with over 100 branches and managing thousands of properties across the UK.
After the credit crunch we realised that people were no longer able to buy. House prices crashed and lenders closed up shop. Banks started demanding ridiculously high deposits.
We could see the problem and were inspired to create a ‘5 Year Home Plan’ solution.
It was launched in 2009, and since then we’ve helped hundreds of families move from renting into home ownership.

While you're renting, the rent is fixed, so you don't have to worry about your monthly payments shooting up, allowing you to budget with complete certainty
Part of your monthly payment goes in an insurance-protected account and builds up your 10% deposit over 5 years.
